The Ask
Navy Federal Credit Union sought to elevate their digital candidate experience by leveraging Oracle’s proprietary HCM (Human Capital Management) platform, Fusion. They needed a highly responsive, modern, and branded enterprise career site built on complex cloud platform architecture to streamline talent acquisition and showcase their employer brand.
Solution
As Lead Developer, I spearheaded technical execution from initial proof-of-concept through final delivery. Working within the Fusion framework, and expanding it as much as possible, I helped engineer custom components aligned with NFCU’s brand guidelines and grand vision. We navigated platform constraints, solved complex integration challenges, and maintained tight cross-functional collaboration across engineering and client stakeholders to bring the design vision to life.
Result
Successfully launched NFCU's enterprise career portal, delivering an accessible, one-of-a-kind mobile-optimized job search and candidate application experience for the nation's largest credit union. The project demonstrated end-to-end technical ownership, overcoming complex platform hurdles to take the build across the finish line on time and setting a standard for high-impact Oracle HCM implementations.
